I strongly agree with your last paarargph and I would add for your blog-followers this little thought:If your injury was energetic enough to cause fracture, then there was surely some soft tissue injury along the way. Chiropractors are positioned to handle the soft-tissue injury that coincided with the fracture. Once the cast is off that broken bone, see the chiropractor right away for proper, safe joint mobilization to rehab the neighboring joints correctly.
